Peer 2 Peer Speaking Opportunities

Here is a MAJOR lesson as a speaker that I’ve
seen people miss entirely. Here it is…

Be A Cool Person.

It’s not uncommon for speakers to step on the
feet of their peers when working together. Or
talk bad about another speaker to potential
clients thinking that will help them get the gig.

I have had it happen to me and I have seen this
happen numerous times and it’s ugly to see.

Here is why it’s stupid.

Your peers can provide you with AMAZING
opportunities they can’t do or decide to bring
you in on.

If they don’t like you naturally those
opportunities won’t happen.

I’m bringing this up because a fellow presenter
called me last minute and said Eric can you do
this gig tomorrow afternoon. I looked at the
schedule and sure I would love to do it.

I do it for people and people do it for me and it
happens because of one of the easiest marketing
strategies you can employ. Wait for it…

Just be a cool person that people want to work
with.

Have an Amazing Day and thank you for attending
another episode of Eric’s Escapades.

Be Amazing!

Sincerely,
Eric "Last Minute And Still Ready" Anderson

P.S. If I did not point this out let me be very
clear. Being a cool person is a REAL MARKETING
strategy. I can’t predict who will call but I
know someone will call with these types of peer to
peer opportunities ALL THE TIME!
