Speaking For Newbies
Micro-Training #3 About Travel and Speaking

Dear Friend,

In this video I discuss one of the huge mistakes I made early on as speaker, was not calculating what my time was worth to go out of town for a speaking engagement.

Let’s use two keynote speaking engagements for this example.
  • The first is in your home town
  • The second is out of state.
If the speaking fee is in the same ballpark for both speaking engagements the gig in your home town is actually worth more then a keynote speaking engagement out of town.

WHY?

You have to factor in travel and the number of days it takes to get to and from your event etc.

Even when your client is paying for all your expenses you still have to factor in your time.

When I first started, I was so excited that an organization was willing to pay me to travel to and from their venue to speak for 60 minutes and pay me for the experience I did not do what I needed to do to get THE MOST out of the opportunity.

During the LIVE event I will share some POWERFUL and PROFITABLE ideas you can use that will help you solve this dilemma as a Keynote Speaker.

Here is the BIG LESSON – You must do your best to leverage every keynote speaking opportunity for everything it will provide to you.

Can’t wait to meet you during the event.

Sincerely,

P.S. It’s not always necessary to travel, you can stay fairly close to home and still do EXTREMELY WELL as a Keynote Speaker.  Naturally traveling opens up ADDITIONAL speaking opportunities.  Get Ready!
